Thomson Reuters Desktop QA organization is looking for a QA Engineer to be part of Utah project. Thomson Reuters Desktop is a new development desktop that provide connectivity to common platform to remove cost and complexity of the current Reuters platform and then provide a springboard for growth.

Candidate is expected to involve in requirements gathering and analysis, test planning activities, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and execution of all testing required to ensure that the software is of the highest quality.

BDQA Views is aiming to deliver S&T Views (Homepages and Guides, Fixed Income Views, Equity Views and Space Views) and Eikon Web Messenger, which are web applications on Eikon Desktop providing a customer all broad and depth services and contents as part of the CP program. And also responsible for 3000 Xtra legacy services which are BondViews and XBLS.
QA groups in BDQA Views will be responsible for implementing functional testing for a wide number of projects that will contribute to the quality of S&T products.
The groups will work closely with other QA teams in different locations but also with development and product management groups sharing the goal of creating unexcelled product quality.

Position: Sr. Quality Assurance (QA Lead) 2 ตำแหน่ง

Roles & Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for the delivery of Test Estimates, Test Plans, Test Cases/Scripts, Test Data, Test Execution, Defect Logs, Test Progress Reports. Additionally contributes to Development Estimates.
• Co-ordinate with the IT team for various testing activities – Environment preparation and set-up, follow-up with the business users, etc.
• Responsible for executing Application Performance Test, Automated Test across one or more system.
• Help trouble shoot problems faced during test execution.
• Manage all the Quality Test Tools including Defect Management Tool, Automated Tool, and Performance Test Tool, etc.
• Lead and provide guidance to a team of testers in defining appropriate software testing requirements, plans/strategies and criteria for the software to be tested.
• Measure the quality of released software against predefined criteria and report any defects for resolution by Development.
• Record and report statistics of coding from each application development team.
• Provide coaching/mentoring and assistance to more junior testers, ensuring that all the works are fully tested, completed on time, and within budget and standards.

• มีความรู้พื้นฐานทางด้านระบบ networking และ network protocols
• คุ้นเคยกับระบบปฎิบัติการ Linux/Unix
• หากคุ้นเคยกับ Cisco switches จะดีมาก แต่ไม่จำเป็น
• ใช้ภาษาอังกฤษได้ดีพอควร

• มีความรู้พื้นฐานของ web technologies อย่างดี
• หากคุ้นเคยกับ Eclipse จะดีมาก

Position : Senior Tester

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Preparing testing documentations, including test scripts, test cases and test scenarios.
• Performing test cases, identify problems and help with problem analysis, debug and resolutions.
• Executing test result reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Thai nationality.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science,Computer Engineering, IT or related field.
• At least 3 year experience in application testing, software testing or system testing.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle.
• Experience in IT Project management skills.
• Experience in automated testing suites of Mercury (HP) wolud be an advantage.
• Knowledge of SQL statement, Store Procedure, Query and Orcacle PL/SQL is a plus.
• Good understanding in IT best practice CMM,CMMI.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
